- The admissions are carried out as per the norms and schedule framed by the CET CELL and Government of Maharashtra from time to time.
- All Candidates seeking admission to first year of degree courses mandatory submit their online application form [CAP] with necessary documents through e-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny mode to F. C. as per the schedule issued by CET Cell.
- As per Maharashtra Act no XXVIII of 215, 80% admission are given through Centralized Admission Process [CAP]
- The Stages in centralized Admission process 2023-2024
Stage 1: Fill online application form by candidate for participation in CAP. Confirm the online application form and verification document at the Facilitation Centre through e-Scrutiny and Physical Scrutiny mode.
Stage 2: After display of Provisional Merit List on web portal, submit grievances if any at Facilitation Centre through eScrutiny and Physical Scrutiny mode.. Check the number in Final Merit List as per the category.
Stage 3: Filling up and confirmation of online option form having preferences of courses & institution before CAP Round 1(Candidates may fill-in as many choices as possible of Courses and Institutes in decreasing order of their preferences.)
Stage 4: Check the allotted institute & course in Provisional Allotment of CAP 1 Round and candidates can opt to Confirm, st and Non-Confirm the choice of course and institute, during the CAP -1 process. as well as confirm allotted seat at ARC by st paying online the Seat Acceptance fee. In cap round 1 , If a candidate is allotted the seat as per his first preference, such allotment shall be auto freezed and the candidate shall accept the allotment so made.
Stage 5: Candidate Who is eligible for CAP 2nd & 3rd can edit or fill fresh option form through their login and after allotment of CAP 2nd & 3rd they can confirm and non - confirm choice through ARC. CAP Round 3rd is last attempt for allotment.
Stage 6: Report at allotted institute for accepting the seat offered as per the CAP 1st , 2nd and 3rd Round along with Original Documents and institute admission fee . Collect the receipt of admission from the allotted institute for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be an indian national.
- Passed hsc or its equivalent examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the chemistry or biotechnology or biology or technical vocational subjects, or computer science or information technology or informatics practices or agriculture or engineering graphics or business studies or electronics or entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks, in case of backward class categories, economically weaker section and persons with disability candidates belonging to maharashtra state only) in the above subjects taken together; and the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in mht-cet 2023 and should obtain non zero score in mhtcet 2023 conducted by the competent authority.
