About Department

Established in the year 2003, the Department of Computer Engineering is one of the oldest departments in the institute with intake of 60.The department offers a 3 Year course, Diploma in Computer Engineering. It also offers course in Second Shift with intake of 60 from year 2014. Our students have distinguished themselves in higher studies at the top colleges.They also occupy positions of eminence in the computer industry. Our Alumni remain in constant touch with us and are contributing in the development of the department.The department boasts of highly qualified faculties who perform research according to the needs of the society and then teach the students. It promotes open source software development and its students have been closely involved with such development projects. The students of this department have brought several laurels to this institute by actively participating and winning several technical competitions of regional, state and national stature. The department has all the facilities to carry out the related teaching and research work.
