About Department

The Mechanical Engineering Department was established in the year 2012 with a sanctioned intake of 60 students with the second shift being established in the year 2014 making up a total sanctioned intake of 120 students. The department offers three year post SSC diploma program. The curriculum is updated regularly with inputs from Industries and Alumni of the institute and continues to maintain its strong link with industry and academics . The department has highly qualified and well experienced teaching and non-teaching staff. The department has an excellent infrastructure and Labs are well equipped with latest instruments.

• To provide quality engineering education to the students through state of art education in Mechanical Engineering.
• To provide a learning environment that helps students to enhance problem solving skills, be successful in their professional lives and to prepare students to be lifelong learners by offering a solid theoretical foundation in computing along with applied computing experiences and educating them about their professional, and ethical responsibilities.
• To establish Industry Institute Interaction to make students ready for the industrial environment.
• To provide exposure to students to the latest tools and technologies in the area of Mechanical Engineering.
• To promote research based projects / activities in the emerging areas of technology convergence.
